Whilst waiting at the car dealership today for service work on my car, I downloaded the latest film and lens from Hipstamatic. I was sitting at one end of this counter and shot the other end. I like the result.

I made these 20+ years ago for my kids. Nothing like homemade wooden toys.

Old type of confinement

I've been using Photoshop Elements for over 10 years. I started with version 2 that my wife bought me for my birthday...I do have CS6 but most of my editing is in Elements only because I'm so used to it..

This challenge has brought me into the b&w side. Not something that I have experience with, but thought I would participate. Chose to start with the vanity of my bathroom. Was torn between keeping color, but think this works.

Shot with 2 Alien Bees B800 and 2 White Lightning UltraZap 800's. Two bare reflectors on the backdrop, exposure at +2, Photek diffuserkey light and white umbrella in front at neutral exposure. Remaining deets in Exif.

Pull up a chair and grab a cup...it's Halloween Tea Party Time!

The Kingfisher is a bird I've always wanted to shoot, but never had the opportunity. The other night, I was served this beer in an Indian restaurant in South Kensington, and I thought "why the hell not?" Lighting was pretty cool and funky, but I think I got it balanced.

Life is a journey...find joy in the journey.

Went out and collected and assortment of Autumn bounty, set up on the bedroom floor

An old spinning wheel, shot in Castle Menzies in Scotland.

This was an experiment using my new strobe lights. The more I look at this image the more I find I need to clean up.

After spending most of my morning playing around with lost passwords and old accounts for photography, I decided to make use of those old accounts and snap some photos. I've been in a still life frame of mind for a bit. I like the fact this shot had leading lines, bokeh, textures and a golden hue.
